Bluetooth Headset that Rings
Did you know that you could get a Bluetooth headset that has caller ID display, vibrator alert, built-in ringtones and digital signal processing a.k.a. DSP technology? This isn’t brand new. It came on the market around 2005.
There is a jog wheel that allows you to control the volume and navigate the menu, a mute button and comes with a USB cable so that you can charge it from your PC.
You can check caller ID when you aren’t wearing the headset and it is in standby mode. You can also use the display and jog wheel to scroll through the menu for ringtones, ring type, language choice (English, Spanish, French and German) and Bluetooth connection. There have been millions of headsets sold so it is only good sense that some of the features we find on our phones are available in the headsets that are almost a necessity since we spend so much time driving.
These headsets have five ringtones you can choose from. The headset improves sound quality by filtering out background noise. It continuously is working to adjust the volume based on the background noise and so the incoming voice is much clearer and easier to understand.
There are four easy to access controls: the mute button, jog wheel, call answering and end call buttons. The sound system automatically adjusts the volume when being used in a noisy environment such as in the airport, a crowded shopping mall or in your car with the kids and their friends.
Get one for your spouse because once he or she sees yours he will want one. This headset would make an excellent gift for someone who travels a lot for work or pleasure.
This type of headset made life easier for sales people who spend a lot of time on the road, long haul truck drivers and others. The sound quality is awesome and easily controlled by the user with the jog wheel.
You can tell who is calling by the number or name depending on the name and depending on the phone you are using.
When these headsets first hit the market about five years ago they were $149.00 in the US and $199.00 in Australian dollars and in today’s market more than that.
One full charge can give you up to six hours of call time and 125 hours of standby time, so your headset won’t go dead on you overnight.
Having a headpiece that rings and or vibrates lets you take your calls almost anywhere. Your car, the airport or while driving on a busy highway, during rush hour.
You can reach all of the controls with one hand so that you can keep one hand on the wheel and still take important business and personal calls.
