2 Line Phone Bluetooth
The two line Bluetooth phone from AT&T is a set up which gives you the option of making a call on your cell phone line via the handset or speaker phone function of your land line. You can also make a call on the landline phone using the cell phone “line”.
It comes with a full-featured desk phone with a large graphic LED display. It can be used as a speaker phone with mute, redial and hold buttons, of course a ring, new call message and message notification shows up on the LED display.
The cell phone directory can be transferred to the land line and back again. You can read and write text messages. Your kids will love this feature. Do they know that they can actually speak to their friends on a phone?
The docking station/charger gives a place to store and charge your phone at the same time. I know I put my cell phone down and instantly forget where I left it. You have the option to use Bluetooth and cable docking options, an accessory port for Dock-N-Talk, a push to talk option and a PC connection. So all of your BT devices can communicate with one another. The ability to access the contacts from one phone with the other also allows you to monitor your young teen’s cellular activity to a certain degree.
This easy access to your landline even when traveling for business or pleasure, allows you to get important calls while on the road. It also doesn’t tell callers that you are not at home since you can return calls on your landline using your cell phone. I don’t really understand how this works, but I do use it all of the time.
My grandchildren like the idea and really do know how this whole thing works. They have given up trying to explain it. I had to have someone show me how to put my contact numbers in my cell phone. I am severely technologically challenged. Just ask my grandkids.
If you decide get a 2 line Bluetooth phone get on line and compare the various 2 line phones available as to features, ease of use and price. Also look for user ratings and posts about these phones. You will learn about any problems with the phone and or devices (headsets) and what people like or dislike about these phone systems. Shop for quality not price. This is also a great set up if you have a small business and you could have a cell and desktop phone dedicated to your business only. You could deal with clients no matter where you are.
