Portable Phone with Bluetooth Connection
It doesn’t matter what you call your wireless phone, it is known as mobile, portable and cell or cellular phone. Municipalities all over the world have banned the use of hand held phones while driving.
These laws have had a lot to do with the explosion of Bluetooth head and earpieces, which allow you to receive a call without having to grab your phone and hold it for the duration of the conversation.
There are dozens of mobile phone manufacturers and they produce hundreds of different models to fit any budget and needs. You can get a basic phone that allows you to make and receive call and little else, although most do allow for game playing.
However it seems like every day some phone manufacturer comes out with a new phone that has new or improved features. One of the greatest improvements has been the development of Bluetooth (hands free) devices that allows you to talk on your cell phone while driving. You phone can sit on your dashboard or in your drink holder and you can still answer incoming calls. There are even voice activated phones that allow you to say “call bob” and the phone will make the call for you. So many places are making driving while using your hand held phone a traffic offense with hefty fines. Even with hands free cell phone use there can be a problem since you can’t really give full attention to what is going on in the traffic around you.
However having this type of phone allows you to report an accident or other emergency and to let your family know you will be late getting home. Just keep these call short, pay attention to your driving and stay safe.
Have you tried to find a pay phone recently? They are few and far between. You can find them in airports and rail terminals but that are not on every street corner or in shopping malls, at least not to the degree that they used to be.
Cell phones are quickly becoming an affordable necessity and a good headpiece can make life so much easier. You can shop for your grandparents’ groceries and talk to them about certain sales you found or to ask if they want a substitute for a product they want and the store doesn’t have.
Bluetooth not only allows you hand free phone use, it allows you to transfer pictures and such to your PC from your phone.
Again many cell phones have cameras and you can snap pictures of your kids and send them to dad who is on a business trip or to a grandparent living far away or at a friend across town. Bluetooth is the technology that allows you to use your cell phone in so many different ways.
