Best Bluetooth Headset to Use with iPhone

You are considering buying an iPhone and want to get the best possible Bluetooth headset to use with this phone.  Many cell phone users love headsets because this enables them to drive, sew, do dishes, work on the computer and perform many other tasks while carrying on a conversation on their cell phone.

Everyday more states and municipalities in the U.S. enact bans on hand held use of cell phones while driving.

The biggest problems cell phone users complain about is that while headsets allow you to use your cell phone they pick up a lot of noise such as loud music, construction noise, traffic noise, and other extraneous noise that can interfere with your conversation.  Most Bluetooth ear buds and headsets filter out some noise but there is still a lot of noise that gets through.

The best we found to use with our i-phones is the Aliph Jawbone Noise shield which does a great job with sound quality and noise filtration.  The manufacturers say that the “Jawbone” has an advanced military grade noise cancelling system, which continually adjusts to its sound environment.

“Initially this unique headset was created for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency” in an attempt to develop a device with the ability to pick up voices in an extremely noisy or hostile environment.

One would expect that these headsets would be very expensive.  However you can get them for about $85.00, which really isn’t bad for the quality and ease of use.  Most other headsets are more noise reducers than noise eliminators.  The Jawbone can be paired with most Bluetooth enabled phones.  However we have found that it seems to have been made for the i-phone.

I wouldn’t use any other set now that I’ve tried the Jawbone.  It actually does seem to block a lot of noise.  Drive on a busy freeway during rush hour using this device and see what you think.

Of course there may be i-phone users who prefer other headsets.  Not everyone likes the same thing.  We gave Jawbones to twelve friends and relatives as gifts and only one said he preferred his other Bluetooth headset.

When you purchase your iPhone ask the dealer if they have the jawbone headset in stock.  You will be amazed at the sound quality and the comfort of this device.  It may cost a few bucks more than other Bluetooth headsets but is well worth the money.

If your phone store doesn’t sell the Aliph Jawbone Noise Shield shop on line and go for the best price.  I suggest that you get one for your significant other or yours just might turn up missing.

Everyday it seems a new Bluetooth device is announced but I think it will be a monumental task to beat the Jawbone.
