Bluetooth 3.0 on new Samsung S8500 phone

What is Bluetooth 3 you may ask. That’s a good question and something that we will see on some mobile phones later this year. The new technology will pay to transfer compared to 2.1. It’s expected that it will be capable of 24 Mbps compared to 3 Mbps in the older version. It also uses 802.11 standards which will help it with the high-speed transfers.

It’s rumored that Samsung have developed a phone call the S8500, which will be the first phone to incorporate the new Bluetooth technology. Not a lot is known about the new phone at the moment but we do believe it may have a 3 .1 inch touch screen and will more than likely be a quad-band EDGE/GPRS with support for 3G.
