Mozilla Firefox for Nokia N900
Interesting news this weekend is that Mozilla are to release its first complete version of Firefox mobile. We believe that this will work with Nokia’s Maemo 5 based devices. The developers of the browser are promising a browser that is going to be powerful and competing with others that are available in the marketplace.
It will have features like tabbed browsing, extensions and also bookmarking synchronization using Weave. It’s intended initially to work with the Nokia N900 and will come with support for add-ons, which will allow the N900 and play You Tube video.
We also believe that for Fox is already in the alpha stage for Microsoft mobile and they are also working on a solution for the Android. It would be nice at some stage in the future to see them also developed the application to work with the Blackberry and the iPhone but unfortunately my presence due to policy restrictions this is simply not going to happen.
