iPhone Now Available on The Orange Network

The iPhone is now available on the Orange network in the UK. Apparently an Orange spokesman Conor Maples has said that they sold more than 30,000 in the first day which just seems absolutely astonishing. Or injured a second network in the UK to now have the iPhone available. As you may already know Vodafone in Ireland have also confirmed that they will be selling the iPhone but we believe this will not be available until 2010.

It’s amazing how many phones that are Orange apparently sold on the first day because I don’t think that’s what O2 seen when the phone was launched initially. I’m sure they have gained a lot of experience from the launch in France and maybe this case them an insight into customer behavior. I’m sure it’s also got to which the contract under terms of conditions that they are offering a believe they are offering more data than the average Orange contract and maybe this is something that Vodafone in Ireland should look at when launching the iPhone in Ireland.
