Vodafone To sell iPhone
Yesterday we had the announcement that Orange in the UK had finally broken O2’s exclusivity deal with Apple to sell the iPhone. Today we are getting news that Vodafone have also secured the rights to sell the iPhone in the UK and Ireland.
This is interesting news because I’m sure there are already lots of iPhone’s on the Vodafone network already that have been unlocked and customers are probably paying over the odds for data. It will also be interesting to see the tariffs when they are finally announced. We believe that Vodafone will not be selling this until early next year so it looks like O2 who will have the exclusivity for Christmas.
