The First LG Android Smartphone GW620 Announced
Interesting news coming from mobile manufacturer LG as they have just announced their first Android-powered smartphones, the LG GW620. Presents some of the specifications are unknown but what is known is that it will come with a 3-inch full touchscreen and slide out QWERTY keyboard.
It’s expected that the phone will be available in the fourth quarter of this year and should be at that stage available in most European markets. It’s also expected that the phone will support all the major social networking websites with built-in applications to make it easier to access Facebook, Twitter and all the rest.
“The LG-GW620 will appeal to first-time smartphone customers by offering a new and different kind of user experience,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our objective is to provide a wide selection of smartphones to satisfy the diverse preferences of today’s consumers. This Android phone is just one of many smartphone models we plan to introduce worldwide in the years ahead.”
