HP Wireless Printer
It’s so nice see all the major printer manufacturers are now producing wireless printers. For years they didn’t even bother putting cables into the box so when you got home which are brand-new printer you then realize that you had no serial cable or USB cable to connect to your computer. I suppose WiFi technology was going to have an impact on the printer market eventually.
Before we get into the different types of printers are available from HP at present what if you are stuck with an older Hewlett-Packard printer that wish to update this to become wireless because your laptop already has this built in and you do not wish to use cable anymore. The good news is that their are many products on the market that allow you to simply pop an adapter onto your old DeskJet or all in one printer still it can now also be a wire free. The HP key wireless printer Kit is now available which is an easy to install kit allow your printer to connect wirelessly to a network, this particular kit also comes with a French receiver and PC receiver and a USB cable so you can connect and set everything up for your specific network beforehand.
A friend of mine is using a photo Smart printer and has a USB Bluetooth dongle so he can connect to this from his mobile phone or any other device with Bluetooth (many laptops now home with Bluetooth). By simply sending the photograph via Bluetooth from his mobile kit can print directly without the use of computers. This is a fantastic service and by using the built-in LCD screen on the printer he can make any adjustments to the photograph before it’s actually printing.
HP also has a nice range of OfficeJet printers that again can also work on a wi-fi network. In their latest range they have some all in one printer should.com with built in scanner/fax/copying and of course printing. There are many reviews available for particular product online and it’s really just a matter of you checking these out to see which one suits your needs best. All these printers of course will work on the 802.11 wireless standard and if you have purchased your laptop or computer adapter in the past couple of years you should have no issue connecting.
No matter which printer you decide to choose whether it’s for an office or home you need to make sure that the price is exactly what you are looking for. In terms of features you can review exactly what you need before going shopping. Some of the important things to look at our page per minute or PPM does it come with drivers that are compatible with your operating system whether you are using Windows Vista, Windows XP or possibly using a Macintosh or Linux operating system.
It’s always nice to visit a store before making a purchase to see exactly what is available but to be honest there are many bargains available from various websites on the Internet. You’ll find that many manufacturers offer their printers at a very affordable price that you need to take into account the price of ink and replacement cartridges into the future.
