Unfortunately this application is only useful if you happen to live in the United States. But, the idea behind it is quite interesting. It’s a job search application that can be used on a mobile phone that is powered by the Android operating system.
Job Search by Voolkan is basically a search engine that will crawl the Voolkan job databases and Craigslist websites and can locate jobs in specific areas and by using keywords will help you minimize the returned available jobs. The application will also then allow you to write a message to the potential employer by using templates you can also add a cover letter. It then allows you to attach your CV (or resume if you live in the US) and e-mail this directly.
You could definitely see the potential for this in other markets, as more and more people seem to be losing jobs all the time with the present economic climate.
