Which GPS Should I Buy

Submitted by Mark Dunne on June 10, 2009 – 10:49 pmNo Comment

This shouldn’t really be much of a dilemma it really all depends on what you are going to be using your GPS for. Some people require this because they are planning on traveling into unfamiliar territory that may have roads and cities that they have never been to before and it makes so much sense to have either a sat nav or a phone with GPS capabilities.

There are many phones on the market today that already have GPS built in to them. There are also many applications available for these phones that have maps to help guide you from A to B this software can also point to the places of interest such as restaurants, parking facilities, banks and much more. I have also seen applications that can help you locate and track your phone if it happens to be lost. This type of tracking software is quite interesting in how it works and you will read many reviews online as they start to become more and more sophisticated is quite difficult to put all the information here.

In terms of which one should you point is really down to what your needs are there plenty of GPS systems that can fit in your vehicle and they come with big screens and gives a clear concise directions as you drive. Some of these are quite handy to put into your pocket as they are light and compact enough to do so. But, of course they do cost money and if you’re not willing to pay for this is to see if your cell phone is already GPS compatible.  Many new phones are built and they are up at the higher end pricing of the market.
