LG’s WiFi-enabled Blu-ray player

Submitted by Mark Dunne on May 19, 2009 – 5:05 pmNo Comment

When it comes to Blu-ray players LG are definitely one company that are pushing this really well. They have just released the BD390 which is a DivX HD 1080p certified player.

One of the interesting things is that this also boasts an 802.11n WiFi module and can support DivX streaming from a DLNA server. It’s great to finally see Blu-ray players coming with wireless modules as we have had a number of people inquiring about this over the past couple of months.

The price of the product at the moment is $400 in the US and for that price you also get BD-Live support, 7.1-channel audio output, 1GB of inbuilt memory and a USB 2.0 socket.
