Acer’s DX900 and X960 Smartphones Announced
A couple of new Acer smartphones have been announced. They have released the DX900, which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and comes with a 2.8-inch VGA display, WiFi, 3 megapixel AF camera, and GPS. One of the really nice features it has is dual Sim card holder, which is a really useful feature and save you carrying around two phones in that kind of person. Connectivity is really interesting on this device as it comes with triband HSDPA on top of quadband EDGE.
The X960 moves up a gear a little and offers HSUPA and 7.2Mbps maximum on the downlink. It also comes with a slightly different 3D user interface and a 2.2 megapixel camera. So far no pricing is available. We believe that they are now shipping in Asia and certain European markets.
