iPhone Accounts For 66.61% of Mobile Internet Usage
Net applications have just released their results for February which shows the iPhone operating system is used more than nine times more than the next Smartphone competitor which happens to be Windows mobile.
So the iPhone has a chunk of 66.61% of all mobile Internet traffic compared to a its competitors which you can see on the chart above.
When you’re comparing how well the iPhone is doing in terms of Internet usage it really is just streets ahead of any of its competitors. I think as smartphones really begin to take off towards the end of 2009 I can see this type of percentage coming down as some of Apple’s competitors begin to take a slice of this lucrative market.
