HTC Magic Android Phone Heading to Vodafone
HTC Magic will be Vodafone’s first Android phone it’s also a nice scoop for them as it’s the first touchscreen only and let phone to the market. Spec wise the magic will comes with a 3.2-inch QVGA screen, HSDPA, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera (no flash), and a G1-style trackball. So far we know in Spain that the phone will be priced from €99 to €199 depending on your contract and expect this price to very in different markets across Europe when Vodafone starts to launch.
Some of the first markets it’s expected to hit are the UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy and we believe that Vodafone plans to launch in the UK this April. One of the things spot on the phone when first announced at the world mobile Congress in Barcelona is that HTC have included a proprietary headphone jack which is going to be a little bit of a pain for users may be at some stage in the future manufacturers will agree a standard for headphone jacks we believe they are already working on the mini USB as a standard power supply which will be due to launch in 2012.
