Apple iPhone Tip of the Day
Here’s a good tip I just came across. If you have an Apple iPhone and you’ve update (just like me) lots of times since you purchased it…well the update files could still be sitting on your computer taken up space that at some stage you might need.
SO to get the space back on your PC hard drive simply follow the steps below
Find the folder containing the old update files… Mac OS X – Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates… Windows Vista – C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates… Windows XP – C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates…and delete them all and then empty your trash after…job done.
