Half a Billion Downloads on Apple iStore
Apple have 15,000 apps now available on their Apps Store and they have just announced that there have been 500,000,000 downloads that’s just hard to take in that iPhone uses have actually downloaded that many programs.
The other amazing this is that the apps store was only launched 6 months ago and Steve Jobs said at the time that he had never seen platform growth or attachment rates this fast and this furious.
Well I don’t think anybody could have seen that growth so quickly. It’s no wonder all the other smartphone handsets will have an apps store as this is sure to bring is extra revenue for sure.
