HDMI for the iPhone
Now here’s something nice, the HDMI Consortium wil be announcing a mini connector that will allow you connect an iPhone to a screen using a mini HDI cable.
What’s the benfits of this you may ask, well one thing is gaming which is going to be massive on the iPhone if not already. You’ll then have high quality audio and video content that I’m sure will be available for the iTunes in the near future.
The new HDMI capability is said to be released soon as part of the HDMI standard 1.3.9. Of course lots of people are talking about standards at the moment as in HDMI vs. the new Wireless HD but we’ll wait and see which one sticks and who wins and loses this one.
