Paid Android applications available this month
I’m really hoping that one of the networks in Ireland will launch an Android phone this year and with more and more Android phones set to appear this year is may happen.
It’s been said that paid applications will come to some Google Android Market segments by mid January, this is according to Eric Chu who is the Google Android Market manager.
He also said that there are plans to add new European countries this month to the list the phone is already available in. This will give developers and opportunity to take target local market for apps with the new country-targeting feature.
It’s expected that the paid apps will first appear in the US and UK and then other countries will follow like Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain.
