LG Watch Shaped Mobile Phone
South Korea’s LG Electronics has announced a new mobile phone watch, the phone is said to be the first watch-shaped mobile videophone. The 3G phone is just like what we’ve seen for years in Sci-fi movies is worn on your wrist and is said to allow you make video calls.
The touchscreen is used for dialling and the phone also comes with camera and speakers for video calls, the speakers are built-in by-the-way.
The mobile has a 3.63-centimetre (1.43-inch) screen and is 13.9 millimetres (0.56 inches) thick. It can also play MP3′s, transforms text to speech and recognizes voices.
LG plan on displaying this at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week with a launch set for later in the year in Europe.
