RIM Takes over Chalk Media
They always say a recession is a great time to build a business and RIM seems to be thinking that way. They have just acquired a solution developer by the name of Chalk Media who’s product allows companies to push content link text, images, video or audio files to their employees Blackberrys.
The deal is set to be completed in February and is costing RIM something in the region of €14 million. Chalk’s mobile content deployment system, Mobile chalkboard, allows multimedia content to be created, securely pushed and tracked on BlackBerry smartphones.
