Kogan Agora – Google Android Mobile Phone

The T-Mobile G1 has been available for a while now, the other day Google announced the Android Dev Phone which is now available for a cool $399 sim free. Now we have the second (or is that third) Android phone which is available from Kogan who are an Australian company.

The great thing about the Android OS is that anybody can use it for free, the company Kogan are web based and get products made from them in China. They have been working on the Android phone which thay have now made available to pre-order.

The phone comes in two types the Agora and the Agora Pro. Both phones you get a 2.5-inch touchscreen, 3G, a backlit QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth and a microSD slot. The Agora Pro, though, being the big brother of the two mobile phones, also chucks in a 2 megapixel camera and WiFi.

Looks wise the phone looks a little like a Blackberry, which of course is not a bad thing. overall, it looks like a pretty decent phone and with more and more apps becoming available it will do almost anything you want. The only problem is you have to live in Australia or near by to afford the shipping cost.
