New Nokia Mobile Phones
With more and more people now buying cheaper mobile phones Nokia have announced a number of new affordable mobile phones this week. The phones are the Nokia 7100 Supernova, Nokia 5130 XpressMusic, Nokia 2320 classic, Nokia 2323 classic/2330 classic, Nokia 1202 and Nokia 1661.
The Nokia 7100 Supernova is part of the already successful supernova collection. The phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM Radio and high resolution colour screen. The phone is expected to available in some markets around now for around €75.
The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is amied at the affordable music phone market and comes with dedicated music keys, FM Radio, 2-megapixel camera. Of course the music phones come with a digital music player and a standard 3.5 mm connector for headphones. Expect to see this at the start of 2009 with an estimated retail price of €90.
Expected to retail for around €40 the Nokia 2320 classic and the Nokia 2323 classic are expected to begin shipping during the second quarter of 2009, while the Nokia 2330 Classic is expect to ship around the same time with a retail price of €50. All phones will support Mail on Ovi and Nokia Life Tools.
The Nokia 1202 is at the low end of all the new phones announced. The phone is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2008 and will include standard features like a flashlight, extended battery life, loud ringtones and a phone book. Expected to sell for around €25.
The Nokia 1661 comes with an FM radio, a large color screen, flashlight support, loud ringtones and multiple phonebooks. We expect to see this hit the market in the first quarter of 2009 with a retail price of €30.
