Will Microsoft Try Buy RIM
Stories flying around today that Microsoft could make a bid for RIM “IF” and it’s a big if the share price keeps falling. With the stock market facing complete meltdown and their share price dropping from $148 to $60 Microsoft could make the move if it hits $40. This rumour gets brought out every 6 months but the pricing and timing could be perfect.
I think I remember reading a few weeks ago that Steve Ballmer (Microsoft) said something about Microsoft not going into the mobile phone hardware business that their focus was complete on software.
