Text Messaging Banned While Driving
If you live in California starting from January 2009, texting while driving will be considered illegal. This is something we should have here in Ireland.
“Banning electronic text messaging while driving will keep drivers’ hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road, making our roadways a safer place for all Californians,” said Schwarzenegger.
The ban includes sending, reading and writing, you’ll be fined $20 for a first offence and $50 for each offence thereafter.
